Indian Government has initiated series of reforms and measures to improve governance, physical and social infrastructure for the well-being of citizens with a thrust to urban reforms. The purpose of the programme is to improve the capacities of municipal bodies and their support organisations to manage urban areas, attract investment and provide better services on a sustainable basis, to all citizens, particularly the poor and enabling policy and planning environment for pro-poor governance. Gramshree Kisan has been involved in project of skill development and entrepreneurship Development where we have identified the beneficiaries for the skill development training by conducting the training needs assessment and also done area mapping to find out the Gramshree Kisan of economic activities in project area. These Programmes are linked with direct employability, setting up and handholding enterprises, promoting self-employment, developing bank and finance linkages, backward and forward marketing linkages etc.
Gramshree Kisan has ability to conduct integrated training needs assessments, design and deliver an informed and targeted training and capacity building program to address knowledge & capacity gaps in an institution for better service delivery.
Gramshree Kisan supports a course on modern agricultural techniques. This provides specific knowledge about local crops. As well as benefiting their own family farms, the course enables the participants to advise their neighbours on improved agronomy, market intelligence and connections to markets.
